Our simple ankle lace up boots are a great everyday shoe, that can be styled for a historical or vintage look, for various occasions and across seasons, these were made with our old shoe lasts, that has since been improved.

We call these "Cobble Skippers", inspired by the incredible portraits of Victorian Children in London's working class tenements (after "Spitalfields Nippers" book by Horace Warner).

These little imperfections don't compromise the structure or quality of the shoe. It is only visible to the eye.

The fit is generous, but true so you can choose your usual size. If in between sizes, best to size down.
The overall fit is relaxed, so these could be suitable for wider feet, or can be worn with thicker socks. The pointed toe adds a timeless elegance, without discomfort.

• Sewn together with a cork insulation inside.

• Goodyear welted leather soles and anti-slip protection

• Made with a 2cm high heel, a nice easy height for everyday use

• Handmade in Portugal

No plastic involved, they are sustainable and should last a really long time. The vintage look leather will age beautifully.

With good care, these boots could last a lifetime. Goodyear welt soles can be endlessly replaced!
