This style is a reproduction of an original pair from 1929, sitting between late 1920s flapper fashion and early 1930s trends, so it suits both decades and beyond.
A timeless design easily styled with a modern outfit, they add a twist of Vintage. Similar models were described in shoe adverts of the end of the 20's:
"Smart women are wearing this latest version of these pumps with square toe and short vamp. A new style for a step towards the future. It combines chic with comfort."Available in two classic calf-leather colors: Classic Black and Café‑au‑Lait Brown for a Parisian chic look.
They have a squared toe for extra comfort, a faceted wooden block heel (the "cafetière") covered in calf leather to match the uppers, elegant Art Deco cut-outs, and a genuine leather sole.
The heel is 5.5cm high (a medium height), making these very comfortable for dancing.
The sole is real leather, and is left without rubber protection for dancing and elegance. You may want to add a leather sole protector.
Handmade by skilled Portuguese artisans, each pair is slightly unique. Sturdy and comfortable: they are built to last, just like the originals.

Our shoes are true to size in length, but this last is elegant and can come up snug in our regular fit on some people.
When in between sizes, always go for the bigger of the two sizes.
-
If you are still unsure, you can send us your foot measurements, and tell us more about the sizes you usually wear so we can advise you.
The best thing to do is to draw an outline of your foot, and then draw a rectangular box around it. If you then give us the measurements of the width and length of your foot we can advise you best that way! See the “step by step” image below.

Most of our styles are available to have made just for you in the same style as on the listing, if your size is out of stock. A made to order item is fully returable and refundable.
They cost the same as a stock item, the only difference is the waiting time, as they must be manufactured.
This takes about 4-8 weeks.
If you would like to order the same style but would like some alterations made in colour or design, then a Custom order is the way to go! They are personalised which means they take a little longer to manufacture at 8-10 weeks.
Because they are bespoke they are non refundable. In the rare case that they do not fit or meet your expectations we will remake them. We offer a full customer support to make sure all the details of your order are clear and that the boots fit you.
