🛎️ This is a made to order listing. It is just a more personal and sustainable way of shopping, avoiding dead stock and overproduction.

⌛ Please bear in mind that these shoes are hand made which requires time! Please allow 8-10 weeks for your order to be ready to dispatch.

Our Sheila shoes are reproductions of an original pair with the "CC41" logo from the British Government's Second World War Utility Clothing Scheme.

We call them Sheila's, an ode to my Granny, who lived during the 2nd World War, and was a very practical, no-nonsense lady and so are these shoes.

The genuine crepe sole makes our Sheilas incredibly comfortable, our most comfortable shoes yet (we think!) and with a low stacked leather heel at 2.5cm, they are still elegant and stylish. They work for 1940's vintage looks all the way to 1970's or 1990's everyday style.

These shoes are true to size, and the last is very comfortable. Just choose your usual size.

Handmade in Portugal and constructed with the Goodyear welt method with stitched crepe soles.

With good care, these shoes could last a lifetime. Goodyear welt soles can be endlessly replaced!

  • When in between sizes, always go for the bigger of the two sizes.

    Your feet are…

🦶🏾SLIM: If you have a narrow and petite foot, then our regular last in your usual size is for you.

If you are still unsure, you can send us your foot measurements, and tell us more about the sizes you usually wear so we can advise you.

🦶🏾 REGULAR: If you have regular to wide feet, always bear in mind that these are vintage reproductions, and can be snug, so a wide could be more comfortable. If you have regular feet but plan to wear these with thicker socks or like to have a bit more room then choose the wide fit.

🦶🏾 WIDE: If you have wide or sensitive feet we recommend to choose the wide fit.

🦶🏾 Extra WIDE: If you have much wider feet, or intend to use any orthotic insoles, we recommend to go up and choose the wide fit.

  • The best thing to do is to draw an outline of your foot, and then draw a rectangular box around it. If you then give us the measurements of the width and length of your foot we can advise you best that way! See the “step by step” image below.
