These boots were developed for TV and Film, and continue to be used by many costume departments, as they are period accurate, comfortable and durable.

Our shoes are true to size in length, but this last is elegant and can come up snug in our regular fit on some people. Our wide fit corresponds to a size up in width, and is very subtle to preserve the look of the shoe. 

When in between sizes, always go for the bigger of the two sizes.

🦶🏾SLIM: If you have a narrow and petite foot, then our regular last in your usual size is for you.

🦶🏾 REGULAR: If you have regular to wide feet, always bear in mind that these are vintage reproductions, and can be snug, so a wide could be more comfortable. If you have regular feet but plan to wear these with thicker socks or like to have a bit more room then choose the wide fit.

🦶🏾 WIDE: If you have wide or sensitive feet we recommend to choose the wide fit. 

🦶🏾 Extra WIDE: If you have much wider feet, or intend to use any orthotic insoles, we recommend to go up and choose the wide fit.

NEW Wider ankle/calf variation: 

The standard height of these boots is 20cm high in our size EU39.

🦵🏾ORIGINAL SLIM CALF : If you consider your ankle and lower calves to be very slender, this is for you. Our shaft measurements in this original fit in size EU 39 is 23cm around the top of the boot with the laces at their tightest and go up to a maximum of 31cm with laces at the maximum. Please bear in mind these measurements vary according to the size. 

🦵🏾WIDE CALF: If you have slightly fuller ankles and calves, then this new wider calf version should allow for a closer lacing, with less gap. This is still a medium fitting wide, and measures in a size EU39 26cm around the top of the boot with the laces at their tightest and go up to a maximum of 34cm with laces at the maximum. Please bear in mind these measurements vary according to the size. 

🦵🏾EXTRA WIDE CALF: Available upon request only for now. For wider calves, this option measures in a size EU 39 28cm around the top of the boot with the laces at their tightest and go up to a maximum of 37cm with laces at the maximum. Please bear in mind these measurements vary according to the size.

The best thing to do is to draw an outline of your foot, and then draw a rectangular box around it. If you then give us the measurements of the width and length of your foot we can advise you best that way! See the “step by step” image below.

Most of our styles are available to have made just for you in the same style as on the listing, if your size is out of stock. A made to order item is fully returable and refundable.

They cost the same as a stock item, the only difference is the waiting time, as they must be manufactured.

This takes about 4-8 weeks.

If you would like to order the same style but would like some alterations made in colour or design, then a Custom order is the way to go! They are personalised which means they take a little longer to manufacture at 8-10 weeks.

Because they are bespoke they are non refundable. In the rare case that they do not fit or meet your expectations we will remake them. We offer a full customer support to make sure all the details of your order are clear and that the boots fit you.
