More about sizing
If you are ordering Victorian/Edwardian boots, we highly recommend measuring your feet, to see what size suits would be better.
Sometimes reproductions of slim Victorian styles come up a little narrow across the toes, especially on the Pointy model. The extra wide last is a safer option when someone's measures are wider than 10cm across the ball of the foot (the widest part before your toes). You can also consider going up one number on this particular style. The Rounded-toe Walking Boot is more generous in width so it comes up quite true to size. However, if you have injuries or bunions, do consider going up that extra size.
We do half-sizes so, if you usually use thicker socks, it could be a good idea to go up half a size.
On the other hand, if your boots run a little large, you can always use insoles. And if you have narrow ankles/calves and find that many boots are too loose there, feel free to send us your measurements and we'll check against the model.
